Among numerous fantastic places a few ones are well worth checking out on your next journey to Iceland:

Haifoss Waterfall: Iceland’s second-largest waterfall

Háifoss is part of the river Fossá or Waterfall River found in South-Iceland, on the edge of the highlands is one of the highest and also one of the most exciting waterfalls in Iceland. It falls 122 meters down in a relatively narrow gorge leading into the Icelandic Highland from the valley Þjórsárdalur and is one of the best attractions in Iceland.

Trekking Laugavegur

Here you can experience some of the most remote, breathtaking scenery in the world. Here you will have plenty of opportunities to hike across diverse terrain while enjoying the stunning rugged beauty of the Icelandic highlands.

The Laugavegur trail is known worldwide for its extreme diversity and stunning beauty. Starting in Landmannalaugar, a rainbow-colored geothermal land, it runs through deserts, and gorges to a lush birch forest in the Thorsmork valley, revealing obsidian, red, and yellow rhyolite mountains, black sands, and cold white glaciers.

Black beaches near Vik

Reynisfjara is a fantastic black-sand beach found on the South Coast of Iceland, close to a small fishing village of Vík.

Black Sand Beach is an excellent stop for a pleasant walk along the beach, admiring the unique geologic formations and watching sea birds on the cliffs and among the waves.

Ice lagoon Jokulsarlon

This huge lagoon is the most prominent place of the South Coast. The unearthly looking glacier lake is situated at the southern end of the Vatnajökull ice cap and is the deepest lake in the country.  Icebergs of all shapes and sizes break off the glacier and float across the lagoon, drifting slowly towards the ocean. This exciting environment is continuously changing as the massive glacier tongue is more and more retreating. You should spend some time here and enjoy the magnificent scenery.
